Second Opinions

When you're unsure about a diagnosis or treatment plan, an independent expert review brings clarity — and peace of mind.

Why Seek a Second Opinion?

It's Your Right — and Often the Wise Step

Seeking a second opinion is a normal, sensible part of good healthcare — it does not offend other doctors, and it frequently either confirms the plan (reassurance) or opens up options you hadn't been offered. Families commonly ask Dr Jain for a second opinion when:

  • A heart condition or murmur has been diagnosed and you want it independently reviewed
  • Surgery, a procedure or long-term medication has been recommended
  • Symptoms persist despite treatment, or the diagnosis remains unclear
  • You'd like echo, ECG or other results re-read by an imaging specialist
  • You simply want the reassurance of an expert, unhurried review
Request a Second Opinion
Independent and honest.
You receive Dr Jain's own assessment — whether it confirms the original advice or differs from it — explained in plain language, with a written summary you can share with your GP or existing specialist.
Face-to-face or by video.
Second opinions can be provided at any of the four clinic locations or by video consultation, with records reviewed in advance.
How It Works

A Simple, Structured Review

  1. Share the background

Send existing letters, test results and imaging reports when you book — everything is reviewed before your appointment.

  2. Unhurried consultation

A full history and examination, face-to-face or by video, with time for every question.

  3. Independent assessment

Where helpful, investigations such as an echocardiogram or ECG are repeated or re-read by Dr Jain personally.

  4. Clear written opinion

You receive a plain-language explanation and a written summary for your GP or existing specialist — and help with next steps, whichever path you choose.

Clarity, When It Matters Most

Request a second opinion — an independent expert review, honest answers and a clear way forward for your child.
